Trip to SCECR and ISA 2022
As I am boarding a train to NYC (not Minneapolis as my flight got canceled), I am finally putting a period to my almost 2-week trip to two back-to-back conferences, #SCECR and #ISA. I benefited from the high-quality discussion and feedback from both conferences tremendously.
One thing I learned is that people loved my model-free evidence. I had to pause a bit at that slide and wait for people to finish taking pictures. Kudos to the organizers and my audiences!
The most exciting and important part of attending a conference is meeting people. There are a lot of familiar faces at #SCECR and we had a great time in Madrid, Spain.
It was my first time at #ISA and it was a bit intimidating at first because there are much fewer IS scholars there and I knew nobody there. But I made some new friends on the first day, and I will be seeing them again at #INFORMS Annual Meeting later this year.
